I’ve noticed that I am getting little drowned in all the sources I work with for my thesis, and when a longer period passes I forget important Information and ideas. I need a system to organize all my sources and keep them at hand. Mindmap or some personal wiki came on my mind at first, but I have a feeling it would be too cumbersome.
I’ve been recently working on this portfolio a lot and even started to like it. More importantly I developed a habit to visit it more regularly and figured it is really quick and easy to jump between posts. I will try to use my portfolio then to have an output containing most important information on sources for my thesis. Posts will have fixed structure and will we interlinked based on which source led me to what next one. Since I try to write my thesis in English, I will practice it there as well. It is nicely in line with the general purpose of portfolio as meant for our requirements. Probably the most important part will be, that I will reflect on read text while not having to glut my thesis with some gibberish.
WARNING: This is an experiment and I may delete this whole section if it doesn’t prove to be helpful.
On this introductory page I will also edit full list of processed sources thus far:
